Need a little help finding solenoid.. .
Hello, I decided to try and replace my solenoid for my 81 2 cycle. I have been looking around for a cheap one on eBay and stuff, but cant find any to switch out with my # on mine 70-111224-3. I am sure that there have got to be others that will switch out with it. I saw some on eBay for 10.00 that was a12 v continuous one, but want to be sure.

Re: Need a little help finding solenoid.. .
I would check with a heavy truck equipment supplier. Look for one that sells lift gates like Tommy Gate or service truck cranes like Autocrane. We handle both lines at work and we stock continuous duty solenoids. You will have to ask if they carry an aftermarket one, the ones from the name equipment manufacturers are pretty pricy, most of the aftermarket ones are fairly inexpensive. You might take at look at this site, http://nationalliftgate.thomasnet-na...-base/apl3030?
They will probably have one that will work and I think they sell direct to the public. |
