Default G16 2" lift???

I hung up on my pickups tail gate loading my new G16 yesterday. There are a bunch of bolts hanging down under the engine plate. I would like to lift in just 2". Looks like I maybe could make my own 2" rear gold post! Would in be possible to do something similar to the front? With the 4" economy hundred dollar lift kit, what do they do in the front?

Jakes has a 3" spindle 300 dollar kit, which is more than I would like to spend. . Will spindle kits work with these 10" aluminum wheels? Looks like spindle kits widen the track? Chris

Will that 3" spindle lift work on a G16? On a G22 you have to use at least 10" wheels with the 3" lift.

Well, I came home today and dug through the junk drawers and made these three shock mount extenders. 1.5 inches for the front and 2" for the rear. Going back to the RV part on Wednesday.

The only info I could find is that the shock bolts are 8MM. I will scribe and drill for the cart end after fitting them into the existing mounts. We will see!!! Hoping that 1.5 in the front does not effect camber to much. And I may or may not have to drill a new hole for the rear connecting rod/stabilizer bar.

OK, I finally found a copy on the instructions for the economy 4" lift kit. They have plates that they use to low the inter end of the front A frames. So, I may have to build those also to keep camber in check.

Well got my home made 2" lift installed. Actually 1 1/2 on the front and 2 on the rear. Plated the inter ends of the a frame down to keep camber the same. Chris

Some more pictures. I just put the raisers on the axle/aframes for now. This fall when I take the cart home I may redo them and put them on the top end it the shocks. But at 5 MPH it may not be an issue!

The are bottomed on the axle/aframe and bolted very tight with 10mm flange bolts and nuts.
