Default Identify this electrical plug on G1

Does anyone know what this plug originally went to? it has 4 wires going into it and 2 of them have been jumpered by a previous owner. Its not for the reverse beeper next to it, those wire are right behind that black box. its a 1984 G1 (j31)
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. The colors are: Red/white, white, black, white. The 2 jumped ones are the white ones. also, I just noticed that if i unplug the jumper it will not even try to start.

It was for a "delay relay". It is absulutly correct to jump or butt connect the 2 white wires to bypas it.
