G9 Starter Wired Differently Than Shown In Sticky
I apologize if I'm not following protocol for my post. I'm new.
I have a G9 yamaha that has been giving me problems recently. While using the great info I found on this site to diagnose my prob, I found something interesting. My starter is wired differently than shown in the yamaha wiring sticky post. My A2 is wired to F2. In the yamaha starter/ cable placement it says to have F2 to the solenoid and A2 to F1. What problems could this cause. I ask because the cart has been running fine for several years. One more thing. The problem with the cart was my F2 post has broken off. Is this a repair I can do myself, or is the generator in need of replacement? Thanks for any help I can get. Love the site by the way!!!! |
