Does anyone have pics of their battery tray using an optima battery? How did you mount the larger tray?

Coming late to ths thread....but I'd be the guy that suggests anything but an Optima. Without getting into a long story...I had a bad experience with Optima and their batteries in my Viper.

From friends that run an auto parts store, friends that sell batteries at their repair shops...Optima quality has gone downhill since a change in ownership. One shop won't even sell them anymore.

I have been using Interstate batteries. No complaints. That beng said, I've also read good reports about the batteries Walmart sells too.

I also am a firm believer in using battery maintainers when possible. In a cart...pull the battery during the winter if there's no electric where it's stored...and keep it on a maintainer. (The original battery is still in my 2005 Excursion.)

Not a fan either, had 4. Won't have another. Won't turn my diesel over with the vigor a conventional battery will! Had no better life span either!!
