Default Yamaha G14 suspension/shocks help

Hi, newbie here. I bought a G14 that was already lifted with a cheap 4" lift kit. It handled very poorly; it felt like it was just floating and drifting and hard to control going downhills and at high speed. I added a rear seat. The springs seem to be too weak, where it rubs the wheel well when you turned.

So I buy a brand new set of heavy duty shocks for the fronts and rears ($100 each for the fronts and $45 each for the rears). and adjusted the toe in and now the drift feel is nearly solved.

However, the shocks are so stiff that the cart gets into a shaking mode at higher speeds of about 18 mph (it lunges forwards and backwards at a frequency of about 3-4 times per second).

So I replace the cheap lift kit with a Jake's 6" A arm lift kit and new 10" wheels and tires; thinking this would solve the problem. It is about 10% better, but still has the shaking/lunging problem.

So, new shocks, wheels and tires, lift kit. Problem not solved.

Has anybody else experienced this with the Yamaha G14 or simlar Gas? What else can it be? Could it be something in the drive train (governer was tightented to get more speed), the transmission, drive gears??

It's been a month of experimenting and no solution. Thanks for your helpful advice.

I'd say clutch problem, if the motor runs strong.
