Connecting g9 light kit wiring?
I ordered the g9 light kit from CPP and can't figure out the hookup. I have all lights installed but obviously don't know anything bout wiring. On the headlights there is an extra black wire with nowhere to go?? Taillight also has red extra wire. Yes, I know I'm an idiot, just figured it would be a plug and go set.

Re: Connecting g9 light kit wiring?
can you use a battery to fire them up? separate from the cart? looks like black is ground and white is power red may be a trigger ? brake or turn signal? are there any relays or fuse?

black wire with ring terminal goes to ground and red may be a brake signal wire?

Re: Connecting g9 light kit wiring?
black is usually ground white or red could be power source ie battery usually fused. you should be able to fire them up with a 9volt battery. not sure what you have but if blacks have ring terminals they should be grounds. and we'll just have to figure out if red or white is switch or power. if you hold the ring termanals on the negative of your battery and then just touch or tap the white or red to the positive you will/should see one of the lights work.

Re: Connecting g9 light kit wiring?
do you have them all hooked up or can you send picture of complete harness? black wire with red bullet connector looks like another ground splice?front with black wire photo. tail light with extra red looks like a trigger/switch wire for brake or turn maybe?
