hey bigcb,, I did mine today,, I did not think about grinding them off till I was done;; what I did was put 2 washers on top that the spacer would slide through,then tighten down,, it compressed the rubber mount real good,, I think as good as new ones'' I always wondered where the chugging when accelerating was coming from, I thought a miss in engine,, if I wasn't tightening the alt belt,, that's when I notice the engine move, I might of missed it;;;; I did all 4.
