And...actually one further tib-bit about the paint. The shop used some sort of adhesion promoting product on the roof prior to paint. My original plan was to paint the inside of the roof white just to make it clean....and cover the slight bit of overspray. I got concerned about the tape pulling the blue paint off and straight solvent wasn't removing the overspray. I wound up using a Mr Clean eraser (or cheapie equivilent) along with some grease and wax remover. Took the light overspray off. Obviously this wouldn't work on a shiny surface, but it sure worked on the underside of the roof. |
