g16,useing gas cleaners???
have a 97, g16, it seems two have a very noticeable mis, have changed the fuel filter, and was wondering if a product like gum out would help or hurt? it says on the bottle to add 6 oz. to 20 gal. of gas,, I thought about just 1oz. to 2 gal,, any thoughts;;;;

I've had good experience using "Sta-Bil" fuel stabilizer, in the recommended amounts, in my gas. It does seem to help to keep things from getting gummed up. Sta-Bil also makes an ethanol treatment that is supposed to be good also, but I have no direct experience with it. If your cart has a miss, I would suspect an ignition problem and not fuel. Try a new spark plug and see if that helps. Good luck - RAY

well,,, I did start using, gum out, I put 2oz, with 3 gal,, that's the rec, dose,, if it works I will, go to 1oz per 3 gal,, will get back and let you all know, its gonna take a while, I never saw an engine that uses such little gas;;I feel sorry for the one cylinder,,,,,

thanks all; I have another question,, I have been using regular gas, next time should I go to middle, or the best, will I see a differ. in engine smoothness???or will it be to hot??

I was told by the Yamaha dealer to only use 87 reg the higher the octane the harder it is to combust= less power. so I was told

87 non ethanol is what i use. Only 1 gas station in a 50 mile radius that sells it
