G9 fuel filling air filter
First time poster, long time stalker of these forums:lol: I've always been able to find an answer to my ? by doing a quick search. I haven't been able to find an answer to my friends specific problem though. He bought a g9 last year and it ran great until recently. one day while his son was riding it just came to a stop. After checking it over it looked like the carb may have gotten some dirt in it. After cleaning the carb and putting it back together the cart ran for a minute or two then came to a stop again. We then noticed that fuel was going into the air cleaner. My ? is then...What caused fuel to get into the air cleaner? Is it because the filter was/is dirty? And if he replaces the air cleaner will this take care of the problem? If not, what will?

Re: G9 fuel filling air filter
The needle float valve has a rubber tip and is worn out, letting too much fuel. Check the oil, bet it is mysteriously over full too, thats fuel. Dont drive it with that bad oil, the diluted oil will ruin the motor.
