Default yamaha G2 gas clutch and transmission troublshooting

Golf cart will not move even though secondary clutch seems to be driving the transmission. I raised the rear tires off of the ground , when throttle is applied the rear wheel will spin but I can stop it by hand. It appears something is wrong in the transmission but not sure if it is just the clutch.

Can you post pics of the clutches? Do you hear any grinding or rattling noises? Lot's of times the clutches are to blame, but if there is something broken in the trans you may not know unless you take it apart. One thing you can try is to raise both rear wheels off the ground (use jack stands) and have someone hold one wheel still while you accelerate, the opposite wheel should speed up x2. Switch sides. If this works without noise then the diff should be ok and the axles should be ok. If there is no resistance in the stationary wheel, you'll need to open it up and have a look.

This is what I was thinking....not good. But axles are fairly easy to replace.
