295 valves
Can't seem to keep the valves happy..
Have to ajust them too often it seems, about every hour of ride time. if i don't it gets very hard to start. Not sure what is going on with them? Anyone had this issue? Is a 96 model is a 804 |

The rocker arms in the older model were too soft. They upgraded them in the MCI engine. The new rocker arms work in all the older Robin engines.
The cam cuts grooves in the old rockers, changing the valve adjustment. I wrote a thread re: rocker arm upgrade. See if I can't find some pics....... I just brought up the whole thread... It's easier. Good Luck. |
