Re: Yamaha G9 teardown
It looks like I'm gonna need a set of front shocks to finish my lift.
The guy I bought my cart from had put MC shocks to lift it (????) and somehow they grew legs and walked to one of the 5-7 piles of junk he has laying around and disappeared. I ordered 7" dbl a arm from someone else and I am not happy. First of all they talked me into a tire upgrade and then shipped the tires I wanted to begin with. Second, one of the shock mount welds was only tack welded and I was installing my spindles...you guessed it....it BROKE. I started this ordering parts before I found this forum so for any newbie reading this learn from my mistakes !!! If anyone has the factory shocks for the front of a 93 G9 let me know. PM me and I'll be glad to tell you the name of that other company so you won't get it like I did. |

Re: Yamaha G9 teardown
I will talk to them tomorrow and see what "customer satisfaction" means to them.
I have cooled a little but still unhappy. I guess this is what I get for my comment to spriddle. Last edited by PV5; 08-10-2007 at 12:46 AM.. |
