Wet belt
How do you keep the golf cart drive belt from slipping in wet conditions?

Re: Wet belt
In essence, you don't. It's rubber on metal or aluminum...it's going to slip. You can have your clutches machined by Tom at Cart Parts Plus and put the torque spring in the driven clutch. It pinches the belt a little tighter.
Someone, quite a while back, made a housing for their clutches that kept them completely dry. That's really the only other option that I know of. |
