Default G1, no ignition switch

So, I picked up a g1 the other day, and it's rough, but it was free. Anyway, the ignition switch is broke, most of the guts are out of the switch. I have had atvs like this before, and usually a screw driver will do the job (temporarily anyways). Well, I have turned the switch every way possible, and I get nothing, and yes, the gas pedal is floored when I'm trying. I have a good 12.7 Volts at the battery, but I can't even get a solenoid to click. Does anyone know an easy way to hot-wire or jump the ignition? I'd like to hear it turn over or possibly even run before I get in too deep. She said it ran when it was parked, but who know how long ago that really was. Thanks a lot, Jp
