G8 Intermittent No-Start
My Dad has a 91 G8 it runs great,starts easy.You can walk outside and it cranks,no spark.Go out later and it starts.It might fire right up and 5 min. later you try to start and no spark.Other than common things like a bad ignition-switch,are there any common problems?

Start by reading the stickys at the top of this section. They will take you through steps to find out what is not working, and you will learn something in the process.

no spark = ignition= maybe coil/cdi/plug- some old plugs only work some of the time anf thier cheep.

It's possible you have a failed igniter!! |
