Question Running accessories on clone swap

Working on a 420 cc clone swap into an 88 gas marathon, and am trying to have enough juice to run a simple radio and street legal lighting. i know that the 420 predator motor has 1 charging coil putting out 3 amps, and another one can be added to make 6amps. i am figuring that is not going to be enough. i have not made a decision on the electronics yet to come up with a needed amperage yet but wondering what you guys have done to run accessories. starter/generator, alternator, sticking with charge coils.....? Sorry for the repeat question, beating a dead horse.

See Shepard's 18 amp conversion in the clone section which I have bumped for you. Many of us use the carts stock S/G and some have added mini denzo alternators covered in a sticky in the clone section.

The flywheel has 4 poles in it rather than 1 I would guess you need the whole system. Maybe Shepard will jump in here as he has done it.

Just wondering ? How are you going to use reverse with a clone engine ? Maybe I missed something but the 1988 came with a 2-stroke
