Default 1998 EZGO 36v (Series) Navitas Controller Issue

Hello everyone. I will go ahead and apologize in advance. I am new to the EZGO scene. I have just purchased a 1998 TXT (series) as a project. When it was bought it was bare bones with wires spliced everywhere. I have went through and cleaned up some and left other wires. I’ve looked at multiple schematics in order to figure out what’s needed and what’s not.

My question is I just purchased a Navitas 440 controller (I ordered the series model) for the cart and everything hooked up seamlessly minus two things.
1) F1 terminal (green wire) I can’t find.
2) Main harness plug has no port for my factory one.

-I will leave some pictures below

If anyone could leave some input on if I use these or not or any other guidance that would be awesome.

Thank you all in advance.

Not sure what the adapter harness shown on Attch-3 is for, but it isn't for an EZGO series drive with and ITS throttle. See page 21 in attached installation manual.

Also, neither the controller's F1 or F2 terminals are used for a series drive.

Default Re: 1998 EZGO 36v (Series) Navitas Controller Issue

Quick update,

I have got my 98 txt (series) hooked up with factory controller (1206). It runs and works flawlessly. I took apart and installed the Navitas 440 with a heavy duty solenoid. My issue now is 2 flash code (solenoid taking to much current) according to book. It also only registers reverse (when in forward direction) on the app and nothing in reverse. I changed nothing when swapping controllers. Also on the app my key doesn’t register on/off.

I hooked everything up the way the 1206 controller was installed minus the A2 motor wire to the f/r. Instead hooked to B+ on controller as stated in directions for 20 pin plug. I have installed new diode that it recommends to the large posts of the solenoid. I did not hook one up to the small post on the solenoid.

What is causing these issue?

Thanks in advance,

Alec
