92 E-Z-Go Resistors
Anybody have the details and/or drawings that show the resistors that are supposed to be on the solenoid and alltrax controller for a 92 E-Z-Go Marathon. I got the cart and after some battery work it ran great. I hauled it to my uncles and it has not run since. The throttle pot is dead open on the black and white wires going to the controller, with the throttle normal or wide open. Think it should be from 0-5 ohms. I think that is why it stopped running. However, reading some other posts, it seems there is supposed to be a resistor across the larger terminals on the solenoid. There is one across the small terminals. Anybody know how many and where the resistors go or have a diagram? Cart ran ok the way it was before the throttle pot went bad on the trip in the truck. I know technically resistors across terminals usually act as spark/surge protection, so I assuming that is what they do, but am curious.
Thanks, Butch in NC |
