Freedom Chip
I have an 05 PDS and my question is, would I see much or any difference if I was to put the Freedom Chip (red) in my cart? I have the Yellow on now. Thanks..

Re: Freedom Chip
You'll lose some torque/hill climbing power and gain a little speed. I personally think the yellow chip is best in a PDS cart.
Is your cart lifted ? |

Re: Freedom Chip
No it is all stock right now. Plains for the future may be a spindle lift.

Re: Freedom Chip
plan on doing a controller upgrade at that time, stock controllers do not hold up under the extra load of lifted/big tire carts and the red "chip" might speed up the process of your controller failing.
Budget for a Alltrax DCX400 and you'll be happy with the speed and torque. Have you upgraded your cables to 4 gauge yet? If not, I'd make this my next upgrade. |
