garys08slt, Welcome to BGW!

Those 23's need lots of torque to tackle those inclines. You need a 48v upgrade, including a 500a controller, and a HD solenoid. If that isn't enough, then it's motor upgrade time.

How fast is it now?

Describe the new copper cables, and where they were installed.

On flat ground it is about just as fast as a stock rental cart. Who or where from can I purchase everything I need?

48v upgrade , Will I need a new charger?

Check the Site Sponsors button above for great folks to purchase items from. Yes, the correct way is to switch to a 48v charger. I can show you a cheaper route using your existing charger and a second 12v automotive charger, but if your not familiar with the cart's wiring harness and a multimeter it's a challenge. Since your cart is running the big meats, I wouldn't recommend my alternate.

OK, you're gonna have to ditch that copper. Not suitable for this application. You want 2g or 4g welding cable with copper lugs, soldered, crimped, or both. Also, EVERY OEM 6g cable needs to be upgraded for the effect to be felt. You would want to upgrade the buss bars in the F/R switch too.
