Scottyb, let's compare apples to apples. You are comparing the price of an Alltrax 400amp controller to my GE 500amp controller. A 500amp Alltrax is over $150 more than what I'm asking.

I'm not familiar with Logisystems. Is a model 480 a 500amp controller? Was $305 shipped price? That seems dirt cheap for any controller. I'm glad it's worked for you. Personally I like the 500amp Alltrax over the GE.

400 AMP Alltrax 398.99
500 AMP GE 399.99 (cheapest price I could find but doesn't include the Throttle converter)

My money is on the new/reconditioned one RJ has......

Wow. The Alltrax 500amp with ITS converter usually goes for about $508 on most sites. I bought mine for $450 plus the ride ITS conversion.

I really think a 400 amp is plenty for my needs. I have found the 400 amp non programmable alltrax for 285. the Logisystems 480 is also the same price.

scotty, yes it is the its model.

riley. $305 net. they have/had an interesting sales setup. they do not sell direct, only thru distributors. i found one in alaska so there was no sales tax. but she buys them in lots from logi. and they warehouse them in odessa. so there turned out to be no shipping. jim

p.s. they also make a 700 amp model for very little more.
