Look at the Neg post of your batteries, there should be a letter followed by a number, the letter represents the month and the number represents the year.

Re: Installed Alltrax DCX500PDS... No Difference?
Thanks... I learned something else, again. The B10 must represent Feb 2010? Bought cart in March/April and was told that they were new batteries.

Re: Installed Alltrax DCX500PDS... No Difference?
23 inch tires are a lot of tire for an electric cart to push but if it is not tossing you back in the seat alittle on a full charge ... You have weak batteries, bad brushes, or some other restriction between the pack and motor....... You could still have a bad battery? What kind are they? Any ID #s ?

Re: Installed Alltrax DCX500PDS... No Difference?
So I was wrong about the letter/number on the batteries. They have E0 etched in the negative post. The batteries are Trojan T605. Does that mean anything to ya'll?

Re: Installed Alltrax DCX500PDS... No Difference?
Trojan is a good name & 605 is a small 200 amp battery. Can we get a specific gravity or load test on these batts? What is the pack voltage at the time of this test?
Basically we need to evaluate the batteries first..... the we can look beyond them to the cart..... |

Re: Installed Alltrax DCX500PDS... No Difference?
Scotty, I'd love to say that I know the heck you're talking about with load tests and gravity but I have no idea. Do I need to find someone who deals with carts to check the batteries? Who else could I try? Thanks.
