Default Can you mix batteries?

I just bought a new set of Trojan T-105's about a month ago. My neighbor has 2 extra T-605's for sale. Can I add the two 605's to mine or do I need to buy 105's. Thanks

too many factors come into play.....

What are you gonna use the extra batteries for?
how old are the T-605's?

The 605 is smaller and older .......... hmmm, I do not recommend it. The T605s may take longer to recharge and result in over cooking your new T105s........ Now, if you charge separately, No Problem I know of ....

My 105's are one month old. The 605's are brand new. I wanted to do a 48 volt upgrade and he is offering them at a good price. He bought two sets and olny needed 8.

nope, I agree with Scotty, those 605's will result in you cooking your 105's during charging.

I'd say go for it but keep an eye on the 605's. There's only 4 lbs difference between the two and about 15Ah. You just need to be diligent about maintenance and charging.
