Fan for my golf cart(s)
I'm looking for one of these to use while playing golf and on my personal cart, but I have a voltage problem. My cart is 36 volts ('05 PDS) and the ones at my course are 48 volts ('10 E-z-go's), does anyone know of a fan that will work with 8,12 or 16 volts?

Re: Fan for my golf cart(s)
I'd imagine any 12V "car" fan could be under-volted to run on 8V. It would just run slower. I'd be careful about over-volting it though. It might burn up the brushes or bushings in the motor.

Re: Fan for my golf cart(s)
You can get those all day at the local Walmart stores. They plug into your cig lighter. I have one on my cart in addition to the radiator colling fan that is mounted in the top of mine. Go to the link in my sig to see the radiator fan I have.

Re: Fan for my golf cart(s)
Picked up a $11 fan at Walmart and a set of battery clips (under $2) came home and cut off the car charger end, soldered the clips on and hooked it to my cart and it worked like a champ. I'll take it to the course tomorrow and see if it will work on 8 volts (or 16)
