2000 875 industrial ez-go accelerator problem?
hey all
need a little help with my 875 industrial ez-go its a 48 volt a couple months ago i hosed out the cab (big mistake) to get all the loose rust out and created a problem. at first it would move very very very slow about as fast as a snail literaly. than it wouldnt move at all. after letting it sit for a month it would move only at one point of the accelerator stroke. and felt like it would move at a normal pace if i could keep the peddle still. today (2 months later) moves very good ,but only for the first 1/3 to1/2 of the peddle stroke. after pushing the peddle half way it stops. i opened the box today that the accelerator rod goes into. see pics. i am suspecting the black thing that the rod passes threw is the problem. what is it call? can i test it? |

The plunger needs only to be flush at the rear of the 'ITS' when peddle is fully depressed. TO check the ITS out put set the DVM to volts and attach the negative probe to B- at the pack and probe the white wire at the 'ITS'. readings should be 0.4- 0.6 at rest through 1.5 - 1.7 at full throttle.... I have some used ones if needed but it is very rare to see an ITS fail.
