Default Club Car DS 2002 Starting off Slow

I havea 2002 club car ds, I had replaced the batteries two weeks ago and the cart continues to start slow then progress to normal speed? Any thoughts? In additon it has an upgraded controller, solenoid was replaced three years ago and brushes were serviced replaced two years ago.
