ok i just went and checked each individual battery on the 20v setting with the meter. each battery read between 7.8 and 7.97 except one and it was at 5.95. i am charging that battery indvidually as we speak. so what does all this tell me?

Follow this link and you will see how low your are. That 5.95 bat is dead, see if you can charge it up like you are doing then see if cart charger willl work.

ok so based on that chart if i get that battery up to 8.0 then the charger should start working, correct? if the charger is indeed working.

So ket me get this staight, you bave only had this cart three weeks and this was your first try at charging correct?

Did you buy from a dealer? If so they should verify the charger and cart is all good. Best way to test that charger is on another 48 volt cart. If neither of these are an option then you will have to try bypassing the OBC or charger relay.

Also I am suspecting that that one bat is no good, it dropped substantially more than the rest of the pack

yea the dealer is several hours away and dont know anyone else that has another cart. and dont have a clue about bypassing the obc or charger relay. im hoping this battery comes up and it will charge, problemed solved other than i may need to get a new battery/batteries.

Did the dealer indicate the batteries tested good? If so maybe the dealer should fix the problem, whether its batteries or charger, since you only had the cart a few weeks. Might be time for a road trip

You have to have a golf course somewhere that has 48 volt CC's. If you do, thake your charger over there and see if they will let you test it on one of their carts

he told me the batteries should be good for 2 more years and there is no since in buying new ones bc those will be under warranty for the discounted price. he also told me to send the charger back monday and he will send me another one if its not working by monday.
