not sure but if someone rebuilt the motor and you paid them and its a business i would think whatever happened its their problem not yours....................................

It's my problem. The motor was rebuilt by a company I had a guy install it and he is the one that wired it backwards when he hooked it up and shorted everything out melted all of the cover off of the wires, I am so bummed and I am wondering if I should just junk the whole thing or if it is salvageable? Can I call you?

yes but i,m really busy tonight and again 1st half of day tomorrow......i should be able to talk after like 1 or 2 pm....i,m running out the door again right now and won,t be back till 2 am................................................ ..
