Default Dead 08 next step?

Looking for some good advice about next step(s).

Had not had the cart on the charger for 4 to5 weeks. Charged it for 3 hours and drove it for about 50 feet. Cart died, pushed it backwards for about 15 feet and it started beeping (forgot about the tow switch). Flipped the switch and pushed to garage to re-charge. Hooked up charger and the needle "fluttered" then the charger shut off. At this point, the cart "free-wheels" in tow or run and will not charge.

Checked the charger on another cart - good
Put a charger on each battery. Charged 3 until they were pulling just under 4. Last battery would not take a charge. Replaced with a used battery and charged to match the other 3.

Regular charger will still not charge the cart.

Tried OBC reset a few times with no luck.

The lights will come on, but cart is otherwise dead

Not sure what to do next?

Check your pack voltage.

Does the cart even move when you mash the go pedal?

No. With the key on and switch in run position, there is a small audible "click" when the go pedal is pushed, but nothing else.

Well its possible you have a couple things going on, sounds like controller problem though which could have been damaged from pushing in run mode.

But first I would start with basics and make sure your batteries are good and charged. What is your pack voltage?

Thanks for replies!!

Will check batteries tonight and post results.

Understanding that pushing the cart backwards in run mode wasn't very smart, but it had to have been less than 20 feet. Still possible to cause that much damage?

Also, how much is a new controller?

I have heard that far can cause damage. You could wait and see if tahoedawg or Shadowman will chime in.

Controller $250 and up, depends on what you get.

But check voltage and bats first, then take next step.

Checked voltage at batteries (by cell):

Battery 1 - 1.9, 3.8, 5.8, 7.9, 10.0, 12.1
Battery 2 - .4, 2.6, 4.7, 6.8, 7.8, 10.8
Battery 3 - .5, 2.4, 4.1, 6.6, 7.0, 10.0
Battery 4 - 1.7, 3.7, 5.6, 7.9, 9.9, 12.0

Are batteries 2 & 3 weak enough to be causing my issues?

I think so. Looks a dead cell in each one.
