Default Club car ds Leans left bad

My 2001 club car ds leans to the left bad. if you sit on the driver side then it leans worse. if you sit on the passenger side it sits near level. i have installed a 6" lift kit and installed new heavy duty leaf springs when i did this. could the shocks do this? i have inspected the entire frame and it appears to be fine. Any suggestions? Swap the springs left to right?

The term shocks should be replaced with dampers as that's all they manage to do is dampen the ride and no they do not provide any support....

Did it lean before you installed the lift kit? Sounds like something is bent somewhere...

What brand is your lift? The ubiquitous "house brand" A-arm lift sold by many sponsors and BU is bad about having saggy springs.

it is a Madjax 6" spindle kit. i believe i ordered the springs from BU but not positive. i believe it did lean before but the old springs were shot when i changed them.

I would bet the rear leaves are the problem. You can swap left to right to be sure...

ok have an update. the front end is leaning. with the cart top on the cart and looking at the rear of the cart the front of the top leans to the left bad. i went through and measured out the frame and i believe the frame is not twisted. if you measure from the rocker panel slots on the sides to the floor the cart leans to the left about a half inch in the front but only a quarter inch in the rear. with the cart sitting on the floor you can tell the top of the dash is leaning significantly to the left.

This is driving me nuts I NEED HELP!!!! i will probably be removing the lift kit in the front tomorrow to try and narrow it down more. anyway to get the left to sit level with the other side???

Swap the front spring pack around 180°. The front springs, believe it or not, are where I've found the lean to come from a lot of the time. I once swapped rear springs on a stock cart to correct a lean and didn't fix a thing. It was the front one.
