What did FSIP charge you to upgrade your stock controller to 400 amps?

Maybe this? This was my before and after:
Man, I laugh at what I had originally! Surprised I didn't have a meltdown on the obviously overheated connection lower left, last pic... |

what is the idea of putting replacing the copper bars, and upgrading to 2ga wire? less resistance, therefore more speed?

Re: Club Car DS - New to Speed Upgrades, Where to Start?
On a series cart - Heavy wires improve Torque - High amp controller coupled with those wires gives even more torque and maybe a tiny bit more speed.
Basically, only a new motor (or hi-speed gears) produces increased speed on a series cart. But its important to note that hi-speed gears need good torque too, to be a viable option when going up hills. |

Re: Club Car DS - New to Speed Upgrades, Where to Start?
have you tried with more than 2 people and still 30MPH?. I 'm stuck on whether i should get the DDmotorsystems.com recommended ES-81-41 or the D392 ? We are in Florida ans use on flat 25MPH roads. I have a 36V CC with 400AMP AXE 4844 r8 and D395 current motor.
I currently top 15mph with 22 inch all terrain tires with 1 person. Do you think that copper on FNR switch was a key factor in you speed increase, never saw that done before. |
