I am getting a continual 4.9 volts with this test. Is my speed sensor bad or could it be the magnet?

The magnet would have to be missing to not bring the voltage to 0v.
The speed sensor is likely bad. |

I went back and checked everything again and found that one of the wires on the new sensor had slipped out of the socket. I plugged everything back in and now everything is working fine. Thanks a lot for your help.
