Default Brakes locking up Help? 2001 club car Pres

I bought a cart and when I apply pressure to my breaks it wants to lock up with very little pressure. Is this just a simple adjustment to the spring underneath? 2001 club car Pres

Try the adjustment underneath. If it is a lifted cart your cables may have been stretched if they have not performed the lift and brakes done TahoeDawg’s way (see pinned thread above).

It sounds like "Axle Twist" to me! (from my experience with a lifted 48V DS)

Check the axle tubes at the spring perches, and U-bolts...
if you see scratches in the paint on the tube, your getting axle twist.
(usually caused by stretched U-bolts over time)

If you let it go for any length of time, bad things could happen!
