Default Club Car Series + AllTrax SR Controller Wire Lengths?

Im planning on buying an Alltrax SR48500 controller for my 99 club car DS from cartsunlimited. That being said, on their page for cable sets it says the some of the cables need to be longer when you upgrade the controller. Which cables need to be longer, and how much longer do they need to be? I have the tools and ability to make my own cables so I'm planning on doing so ($75 in parts instead of $200+ in cables), but I don't want to have to re-make the cables when I pull the trigger on the controller.

Thanks!

When I made my own cables I just held the cable from point to point to see how long they needed to be. Several of them are shorter than the old stock cables. I made sure I allowed room for turns and bends.

PS after making my cables I hung them up and painted them stock colors, had to wait until the next day to install.

Thats what I've been doing as I make my new cables. In most cases the cables are the same length as the stock ones. But According to http://www.cartsunlimited.net/battery-cables.html, when I upgrade the Alltrax controller (I havent bought it yet), I'll need longer cables and to reach it, but I'm hoping to get the cart's wires done first.

Give Scotty a call, I'm sure he will be glad to give you that info.
He is the one who can give you the most accurate answer.
MrGolf, you are a genius, I've only been piddling with carts for a few years and one of the things that bothered me most was the lack of colors available in 4 and 2AWG cables unless you want to pay big bucks. It never crossed my simple mind and most likely wouldn't have, to just paint them.
Thank you, Sir.

One can of each color will do a lot of cables
