Default Speed Sensor bad?

Hi guys, I think I may have a bad speed sensor. Regen braking has stopped, no buzzer pushing the cart forward or rearward.
I really didn't notice the problem until today since I never go much over 5-8 mph just cruising around drinking a cold one and listening to good music.

Anyway, the cart is only doing about half speed. It will run 13-14 mph when it used to run 26-28 mph.
This is a strange cart and I think the controller has the speed limiter removed.
I never push the cart that hard and since the motor is stock and I figure I'd burn the motor up in short order running much faster than stock speed.
See this older thread I started some time back for more details about this goofy cart. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...4-i-guess.html

The cart is an Excell. The sensor looks like the top hat with two screws securing it.
If one of our vendors will respond to this, I'll purchase one from him.

Sounds like a sure speed sensor issue. Your cart will have the ADC speed sensor on it. Part number 102704901.
