Talking New cart way to slow

Just got a 2009 club car. Top speed is 9 mph. My 2007 club car would top out around 17-19 mph. What is the best way to speed this new cart up? What is the top speed of a club car?

Top speed is 19.6 on flat land. You can have your dealer set speed code 4 for you. I hear it's about $100.

9 mph sounds like a bad speed sensor. With key on try pushing cart if it don't beep the speed sensor is bad. It should resist being pushed.

You should have a tag like the one shown in this picture if you expect 19 mph out of it. It should be in the passenger side dash compartment.
