On an ‘88 DS it should be:

A1
S2
A2
S1

From top to bottom. That’s assuming my motors are the same as yours, which I think they are.

In addition to the cable issue on the motor the connection on the F/R is not looking good.
I would take all the small red wires, two or three if there is a third one, together and put them on one ring terminal of the correct size and use a new nut.
Also you may want to replace the other terminal on the motor as well.
Move the purple wire away from the resistor coil as it can melt and short as is.
I would inspect all cable crimps large and small and replace any that are ugly.

Hey guys sorry for the late response but as it turns out my problem was in the wiring and NOT in the motor. As a last resort I wanted to absolutely be sure that everything was wired to spec and if you look at the pic of the F&R switch the bottom left lug has the key switch wire attatched to it when in fact it’s suppose to be wired through the charging port. Well I went to switch that to the right connection and the old port broke so I ordered a new one and got it wired correctly and WAA LAA!! She went to working like a champ..no motor issues or anything else. Thanks again for the info every little bit helps [emoji1360][emoji1360]
