I wonder what caused those particular components in your controller to fail in the first place. Could it be a case of the controller getting worked too hard and upgrading might make sense anyway to prevent future failure?

Glad you were able to fix it though. On what I think is a MOSFET with the 3 pins that were all globbed together I can’t believe that kindergarten solder job didn’t cook it completely. What a mess, I’d call to see if you can get any kind of refund. Also, where did you take it so we know not to use that vendor for controller repairs?

Services CAPP rebuilders. Atleaset that is what google found but it may be mis-spelled. I think there should be a R in there

There is no rebuilding going on. The use of the word rebuilding is misleading and should not be allowed. Repair is what is being offered. And a CRAP job at that from what we have seen posted here
