2012 Precedent hesitation
My 2012 Precedent is developing an issue. Occasionally, after the cart has set still for a while, it won't go forward when pressing on the accelerator. If I rock the cart back and forth a little, it will take of and run normally. I have read some of the threads on issues with the MCOR, but am thinking it is something else, as the cart works normally once I get it to start moving.
Thanks! |

Re: 2012 Precedent hesitation
If it has not be ridden or charged for a while it could be the lockout feature. Before you try it again, unplug the charger cable at your cart and wait a few seconds and plug it back in to charge for a few minutes.. If it works fine after that, it is the lockout.
If it doesn't, check the MCOR by jumpering out the 2 wire connector with a paper clip and see. |

Bad spot on the motor armature or could be bad brushes in the motor. Either way it's the motor
