Re: Charger Expert needed
Go over all battery cable connections and charger cable connections at the battery and receptacle making sure everything is clean and tight. Check your voltage at the charge socket to see if it is same as pack voltage. Sounds like it could be a bad connection somewhere. Good luck.

Re: Charger Expert needed
Check the receptacle fuse and see if it is blown. You can check it with a continuity meter at both posts to determine it...
You will find or reveal the problem on one side or the other of that receptacle because if the fuse is good, then as PingEye3 stated, the voltage readings taken from the receptacle will tell you what you are missing (the Neg or the Pos) and then you can back up from there to find the culprit. Red wire from Receptacle should be going to Main Positive and Black wire from the receptacle should be going to the Main Negative. |

Re: Charger Expert needed
Your problem is most likely related to "...OBC bypassed using Lester kit...".
The 10ga black negative wire that comes from the charger receptacle connects to the Lester kit harness using a single packard quick connect terminal near the OBC. There is a fuse inside that Lester harness that most likely has blown. Hopefully you made sure the new summit charger has been configure for "onboard" use as the default "stand alone" mode only starts a new charging cycle when it is disconnected from the batteries and that does not happen when mounted onboard. |

Re: Charger Expert needed
How did you measure this voltage?
Meter in VDC Neg lead to last battery #6 Pos meter lead to charge receptacle Pos should give full pack voltage. ~48VDC There should be no voltage on the Neg terminal at the charge receptacle. If you used the wrong battery for Neg reference you could read half voltage. Recheck the neg meter lead reference point. |

Re: Charger Expert needed
Are you saying voltage at port just "went" from 24 volts to 48 plus?
