Default 1999 EZGO 4 stroke hard starting

Hey people. My 99 EZGO has a really hard time starting. Changed plugs, new gas, fuel filter, air filter, new battery, new battery cables, cleaned carb thoroughly (multiple times). Here's what it does. Cold start, the engine cranks over for a long time before it starts. If I use the choke at all it floods the freakin engine. Therefore I have replaced the plugs multiple times. Seems to me that it isn't cranking over quick enough. Even with the new battery and cables. Yet, when I hook it up to the jump start it turns over quicker and starts up fairly soon also. What else should I check??? I am trying all new gaskets in the carb to see if that helps. I'm really frustrated.

How did you clean the carb? I rarely have luck cleaning/rebuilding them anymore ever since awesome ethanol. I mean they work but never perfect. Did you take out every part, soak in (I like sea foam) cleaner for 24 hours and blow out with compressed air etc? What about spark check, wires, plug gap? Compression test?

Sorry, I haven't been around in a while. Finally had time to look at your replies. I will check the compression once I put the carb back on. Cleaned it thoroughly again.

Original manufacture plug or something else? Sometimes that makes a difference. If the compression checks out I would try and the spec original type plug
