99 Club Car DS Curtis PB-6 to Alltrax Controller
I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a 99 Club Car DS that I am trying to convert over to a Solid State. I bought a Curtis PB-6 for the throttle,36V SOLENOID 200amp, ALLTRAX 24-48 Volt 300 Amp #XCT48300-IQ Controller. I have all new 4ga wire for the Batteries and for the Motor. I have also upgraded the motor to Part # 170-001-0002 - Club Car Motor 9.4 HP - 16 mph + 20% torque. I am currently trying to wire up the controller to the PB-6, F/R Switch (it is OEM), motor, Solenoid and Charging recp. I have attached the diagram that I made, I am missing some placing to where wires need to go. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 99 Club Car DS Curtis PB-6 to Alltrax Controller
The Controller You have is for a SEPEX cart, everything else You have is for a Series cart.
That Controller is not compatible with Your system, You need to exchange it for an Alltrax SR model. |

Sergio, can you take a look at the new attached document and tell me what I am doing wrong. I have not changed the F/R Switch, so it is the original one. The straight bar had the pos power going to it but I did not connect it. The controller itself is not getting power when I turn the key. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 99 Club Car DS Curtis PB-6 to Alltrax Controller
The Motor S1 and S2 are correctly cabled as they go to the "pivoting" studs of the FNR.
The two bottom connections are wrong, remove both cables. Connect a copper buss-bar or a short jumper cable that bridges both of those bottom terminals together. Connect Controller M- to the bottom terminals bridged by the buss-bar. Connect the Motor A2 cable to the unused "Side" terminal. Power should go from the Key Switch Blue wire to the pedal Red wire. Pedal black wire will then go to both: Controller KSI input and Solenoid coil positive wire, which is the same coil side where the diode stripped end is connected. Disconnect the Reverse buzzer. Remove that extra "light blue" wire that goes from Solenoid to key switch. |
