New clutch spring now oil light
05 club car with 6 inch lift. Was running fine. Decided to put a new kevlar belt and torque spring in the rear clutch. Now the oil light comes on now and then. More at low speed but higher rpms because the clutches havent shifted. What is the fix. Hate to have to take the new spring back out.

Re: New clutch spring now oil light
With a 6" lift you have the engine tilted back to a point it was probably hovering on coming on prior to the spring,
Now with the same angle and higher rpms due to the spring you might have crossed the happy zone. Try adding just a little more oil and see if it goes/stays out. How does the oil level read on your stick now? |

Re: New clutch spring now oil light
Oil level on stick is at full. I added a little more and did not help. Did a little research and found a post that said at full on the stick could be over full because of the angle of the motor. So I drained some out. No light for right now. Fingers crossed.
