2002 Gas Worhorse - Lights - Ground
I’m restoring a gas Workhorse 1200 for the local marching band. From some older threads seems I’m not the first. Just purchased it and have torn it down to the frame. Running well so far with some minor adjustments.
Currently getting no lights and no horn … have decided to start with the lights. With the ignition switch in the run+lights position, I do get 12.5+ volts to the light harness. Spade connections. However I need to manually ground each light to get them to function. Tips on where to look and/or how to find/resolve what appears to be a loose or missing ground connection? There is a small black wire with ring terminal coming out of the loom near the battery which I’m connecting to the negative terminal. It’s the only negative connection I have other than the thick unshielded cable grounded to the carts frame. Any advice appreciated. Dane |
