Default 2021 i20 Reverse Gear Beeper

New i20 owner here. First cart. I find the reverse gear extremely loud and annoying. Can the beeper sound level be adjusted and if so, now? Through controller adjustment or other means? Thx.

you can just unplug it. if you want it to still work but mute it you can either replace the horn with a weaker one or stuff it with a sock and tape that up (horn points down)

You can also put some rubber foam in the horn and then put a Pringles lid on it to hold the foam in (the Pringles lid fits perfectly on the end of the beeper). That is what I did. Keeps me aware of the reverse, but not that loud.

Excellent, McGyver. I'll give a try. Thanks!

We thought ours was way too loud too. I replaced it with one of these:

I cut the connector off the old one and soldered it to the leads new one. Much better now. It makes a buzz that is much quieter and still lets you know it is in reverse.
