Default Steering upgrade for G29?

Are there any steering system upgrades available for the G29? Something that may deliver more precise steering.

You get the crazy wobble at higher speeds?
I am thinking of replacing the front shocks with bigger ones.
upgraded the back suspension but it still wanders all over the road at 30mph

Yeah, anything over 25 and mine is sketchy as hell. I replaced the controller last year and can get a little over 30. This year I was planning on going with a lithium upgrade but I am afraid it will lighten up the front end even more and cause the handling to be even worse.

Check your toe-in. Should be zero, or slightly toed in.

Also check for anything loose. I have two G29's and I do not have any steering issues. I do limit my top speed to 25 for safety reasons. No front brakes!!

Yes but mine cart only goes 22, couldn't imagine 30. Lol Has a new lift kit and wheels.

Dumb question, without an alignment machine how do one go about checking it? How do you adjust it? Wheel look straight by my eye. It tracks straight but tends to get squirrely at times at high speed esp if the road has any sort of undulation to it.

Wheel and what not all seem tight as does the control arms and such as far as I can tell anyway.

Use a tape measure to measure from wheel to wheel front and back. Spec is 1/8 inch of toe in I believe. These things are not designed to go fast! Lifting often makes things much worse by raising CG and fooling with suspension geometry.

Remember that all those rubber bushings "give" a bit. The forces they are under at 30 mph are far greater than at the 12 or so mph they were designed for. That's part of the rational for 1/8" toe in: under pressure the bushings will deform a bit and should leave your tires running nearer to true parallel. Higher speeds, higher pressures. Then there's the weight distribution issues that Drives have. The seating position is further back on the chassis than most other carts. Works great for leg room, not so great for handling. I've wondered about mounting some kind of weight into the nose, but haven't gotten around to experimenting with it - yet...

Is that measurement taken from outside of tire to tire at the front of the front axle tires? Then same at back axle?
