Default Icon i40 / i60 Wheel Upgrade

I have a 2021 Icon i60, the factory 12s are not doing it for me anymore, I really want to get back on 14s like my previous rxv.

Mounted up these 14” SS Wheels and I love the look, BUT they rub so bad! It is not driveable.

I have mounted wheels with tires 215/35-14 and 205/30-14 with no luck.

Maybe a different offset?

Has anyone attempted bigger wheels on their non-lifted i40 or i60?

Man I am so glad you asked this! I just received our brand new i40, and want to upgrade to larger wheels and tires too. Love the look of the lifted but, it was a little tippy in the corners etc. Hope someone has an answer!!

I just replaced the original tires on my i40F with steel belted radials, 205/65-10s. Didn't change out the wheels or add spacers, and it rubs a little during very slow tight turns. But what a difference in the ride, night and day. Those original tires are crap. But since mine is the extended chassis because of the forward facing 4 seats I'm not sure if it rubs more or less than the regular chassis models. But again, it's not much of a rub, only when turning while parking, etc. Much easier for the wife to turn the small wheel now also. So a win/win.

So I just double checked, I currently have 215/35r12’s. I’m thinking of swapping out the tires to some 215/50r12’s. Totally unsure if that will fit…. 🤷🏻*♂️
