Re: max tire size non-lifted
You may be able to go with a 20" tire!! But if you can even fit that would be the max.

Re: max tire size non-lifted
I have run 20" on the front, I still have them. carlisle 4 max I believe they are, 7" or 8" wide 20" tall 8"rim. I've had them on a few different non lifted carts with no problems. I never tried any others, I guess it depends on which 20" tire as to if they'll work on the front or not.

MAybe it si a width thing JON I had 20x11x10s that did not fit. Prolly was the 11 inch width? They hit the springs when turned all the way and the brake peddle hit them?

Re: max tire size non-lifted
too wide of a wheel. they would work on a narrow rim.

Re: max tire size non-lifted
I doubt you'll get 22" to work on the front of a stock marathon, I would bet money it wouldn't. put some longer txt springs on it and it might.
This pic shows my marathon based cart with the 20" tires I talked about on the front and it has 3" lift blocks on the front axle. 22" would fit on there but I bet they'd rub in tight turns. also the 22" on the back will rub the frame and springs if you use stock wheels and no spacers |
